I'm getting ready to make one to replace my old ate-up glass one. I'm going to make it from Black Walnut and finish it the same way I did my rocket launcher - epoxy for waterproofness topped off with clear lacquer for UV protection. <br /><br />Here's what my last boat project with the stuff came out looking like (its 3 years old and outside with a foot and a half of snow on it right now):<br />
