bow tank installation question

Hi all,
just a quick question. I am planning to install a bow gas tank and would like to know what I should keep in mind what I will need for this to work. Will running a long fuel line from the bow to the motor cause the fuel not to be able to feed properly? My boat is 19 ft, where should I install the primer, closer to the motor, half way or closer to the tank? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I did try searching but did not find the answers to these questions.

You should not have an issue with fuel line length. The primer goes closer to the tank or else you'd be pumping it forever just to get flow started.
