I have looked at some of the threads for the Boyesen reeds and it seems the consensus is that they improve holeshot and midrange punch. If I am wanting to set up for mostly skiing, will boyesens work well or are they like the vented props and counter productive? The motor is a 98 115 looper on a 16.8 stratos FS, I think boat wieght is 1200 without motor dry.

Both the Boyesens and a vented prop will help bottom end. Both great ideas for pulling skiiers.

Thanks for the advice, hoping to install the reeds this winter, and begins searching for props this spring, as this boat will be "new to me"

Cool. Stay in touch, we'll get you hooked up with the right prop.
