I have a 1996 30hp 2cyl 2strk Mariner. Its on a 600lb boat with a mod-v hull. I run a 13p 3 bld prop and can get 25mph with a light load. I'm looking to step it up a bit and was wondering about reeds. I tried them on dirt bikes and saw a notice able difference but never heard much about them on outboards. I did a search here and saw a few posts about them saying good and bad but mainly on bigger motors. I'm not looking to get great gains just maybe a bit better throttle response and maybe a bit better low end when running with a heavier load. Top speed isnt really an issue for me. I know they work by letting more air in during certain parts of the power band. Does this require any rejetting on outboards? I always went up 1 size on my dirt bikes when adding Boysen reeds. Anyone have any opinons on them for smaller motors?

Thanks
Tim
