Brand new 60hp Merc 4-stroke -- getting ready for first oil change..25W-40 or 25W-50?

Manual says for synthetic to use Quicksilver 25W-40. Went to a dealer and he sold me Quicksilver 25W-50 b/c that's all he had.

Will there be any difference? Should I use it or look for the -40??

The web page states -40 is "recommended", while -50 is "acceptable". The -50 seems to be used only for high performance / supercharged.(Of course I saw this after I got home)
