Brand New Intake Manifold Gasket leak Volvo Tamd22. Cant Stop The Leak.Videos Inside.

Hi lads. No matter what i do, i cant stop this gasket leaking.

(Rebuilt engine, skimmed head and block.)

Just Replaced head gasket,still Smokes on start.

Clears on high revs.

BUT

At 3000rpm+ the intake gasket leakes.prob leaving tiny ammounts of coolant on pistons.and obv sucking air in.

Tried 2 new ones now, correct tourqe, brand new Bowman

.

Cant understand why it wont seal,

Or is it blowing far to much pressure there?

Knightmare just wont end.

are you sure that is a coolant leak. looks more like overfueling. pressure test would tell you if your sealing.

Hi mate. The bubbles on the manifold join, is a tablespoon of water i put there, as it shows leak.

Pump is DTI gauged in. Not sure how fuel would cause the gasket leak

When you rebuilt the engine did you bore the cylinders to oversize?

Also how much was taken off head and block?
