Brands of batterys?

i need to buy a new starting batt but there arent to many local places to get one (llots of places have deep clycles but i need a starting) i ended up getting one from gander mtn but i never heard of the brand and they offer no warranty it was only $69. its a trogan brand. im wondering if i should try to find another one.

well i just did a search but really couldnt find if they were a good battery and i just noticed the batt is from 2002 , wella t least 02 is punched out on the dates on the battery, should i get a differentone

Everstarts from Walmart have always served me well. I have only put in two fo them in 13 seasons.

but do they have a marine starting one my small local one didnt but i didnt check the bigger wal-mart

Yes, they have a marine starting battery. That is what I have. I can't complain about Walmart batteries. The one in my boat is 4 years old. The one in my Toyota pickup is 6 years old. The one in my Jeep Wrangler is 8 years old.

i shopped around yesterday and wally word had the best prices and best cca for the $$$ i got a starting and deep cycle . i also found out the ever starts and made by exide for wal-mart
