I have a 22' LCB hellcat with Verado 300 with 3 blade 25p inertia prop. i notice the bow drags when trying to get on plane and at low speeds and boat wanders all over the place. i was told these type boats hate 3 blade props. i recently purchased a 4 blade 26p bravo1 xs with 8 PVS holes. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these cat hulls and what would be a good starting point as far as how many open vents to start out with if any? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

What's you engine height? Jackplate? Gear ratio as the 300 can have several depending on lower unit? Lower unit type?

ill have to get measurement on motor, 1.75 gear ratio, 6" JP, SP Lower unit( narrow cone low water pick up.)

Is that not just what cats do ? I’m aware some guys use maximus props well on big outboard power cats
