Hi all!!

I hope this is a stupid question. I am new to boating and just bought a 1999 210 Sea Ray. It has a 5.0 liter and Bravo 3 lower unit.

After I pull it from the water it leaks water from what I believe is the water inlet (the holes on the side of the lower unit). It will leak literally for days, just a slow drip.

Is this normal? Is there a better way to drain it? I am getting tired of repeately mopping up and squeeging out my garage.

Thanks in advance!!

You could try draining your block using the side petcocks before putting it in the garage. Of course that will require you to pump out the bilge.

That water is probably the little bit left in the block that cannot immediately run out because the thermostat is closed.
