Bravo 3 seal replacement from home?

i have a friend with a bravo 3, . The lip on the prop shaft seal is tore behind the prop and its puking oil. is there anything special about changing this seal or can it just be popped out and a new one back in? never touched a bravo 3 so not sure.

I would check out this thread. It might not be something you can do without the right tools and a manual.
