Bravo gimbal bearing removal question

Is there supposed to be some sort of snap ring or clip behind the gimbal bearing? I just wiped all the grease off and looked and there appears to be nothing holding it in place. I don't want to pound away with the slide hammer until I'm sure it will come out.

Nope,... Not since the really, Really old model 1s.... Purely a resistence fit....

Thanks for the info. I have the #11 manual and it shows nothing there too, just wanted to be sure.
