bravo II is more of a commercial drive.......the bravoIII is a dual screw. it may be a bravo I.
if you call the mfgrs......give them the serial # of the hull......they will tell you the exact everything. inclucing the color of the carpet

Re: Bravo II>>> correct gear ratio

I'm guessing it's a 27 ft boat?.....If I had a boat that big, I would want a Bravo III on the back. probably a 2.00:1 ratio.

Rick

I can't tell you what the gear ratio of the old drive was, but if you get the serial number from your engine, you should be able to contact either your local certified Mercruiser dealer, or call Mercruiser yourself and find out what the ratio is.
The Bravo II drives were very common on the 24 to 28 foot cruisers, and not just for commercial boats.
