Hello and happy Monday!!
Recently purchased a boat with a bravo one. I was checking the gimbal and prop movement to ensure no bad bearings or mounts and noticed that in forward gear I can spin the prop by hand ever so slightly. Not really spin but it's "mushy". When in reverse gear the prop catches and is locked in place. If I understand correctly the bravo one has a clutch. Could this indicate an issue with the clutch and if so wouldn't reverse be mushy as well?
Under power hole shots are solid and there is no indication of power loss or erratic power. What caused me to check in the first place was a tach that was reading 1000 RPM higher from one outing to the next at the same GPS speed range along with some needle bounce.
Thanks for any help.
