Bravo Trim Pump Troubleshooting

I just installed a new trim pump for a 95 7.4L Bravo and it sounds like its working fine but it will only raise the drive an 1/8 of the way up and the trim indicator shows it being 3/4 of the way up. It stops like as if is all of the way up. Any suggestions?

1. air in trim system 2. insufficient pump pressure 3. shuttle valve stuck 4. hoses are reversed. Did you check if it's pumping oil?

Is this with the trim button or the tilt button?<br />trim raises just so far then the tilt is needed to go the rest of the way.

Just by your description,........<br /><br />I'd say Both the Trim Limit Switch,+ the Trim Gauge Sender are Way Out of Adjustment...........

You're right, the trim senders were way out of adjustment. Thanks. All fixed.
