Bravo1 drive installation

I recently had to remove my Bravo1 drives for service and upon reinstallation, I cleaned carefully all the mating surfaces and installed new O-rings using grease to ensure they are stuck in place. While installing them and tightening the bolts, of course there is some leakage of the gear lube coupling device and once it is completely tightened, I cleaned all the leaked lube off the drive with a rag and brake-klean... and after a few minutes it was still leaking... so I went back and confirmed the tightening of the bolts again in a criss/cross pattern (without a tourque wrench, unfortunately, but they are quite tight) but it continues to weep ever so slightly... Although with each successive cleanup, it seems to be less and less. Is this normal because of the amount that may have been squeezed between the drive and gimbal, outside of the o-ring, and can I expect it to stop? All the mating and o-ring surfaces were carefully cleaned, picked free of all old "gasket sealer" and carefully smothed with emory cloth...I thought it looked nice and clean before installation, and I did confirm prior to closing the gap that the o-rings were in place before tightening the bolts. So, I guess my question is what should I do next? Get a tourque wrench and confirm tourque, or re-separate drives and add gasket sealer? Please advise....

I have never needed gasket sealer on my 1997 B3. That's what the "o-rings" are for. If you took very long getting it on, "a lot" of lube leaks from that gear lube tube. That's about got to be what you are experiencing.
