I have a '71 or'72 Evinrude Triumph 3 cyl 60hp.
At the bottom of the intake manifold is a nipple with a breather tube comming off of it and going to nowhere.
Is this supposed to have some kind of check valve in it, or connect to something, or is it just supposed to remain a small vacuum leak?

Thanks---------Robert

My guess is the tube (hose) should go to the air silencer.(housing in front of the carbs). It eliminates oil/fuel build up in the silencer.
DHP

Ahhh. Now considering that the previous owner removed the air silencer and lost it( he thought it would make it go faster....go figure ) it looks like I most likely need to plug that line off.

Thanks--------Robert
