i just got off a B & S web site .. for parts for a mower.. an seen they have a new 5 hp 4 cycle outboard that they keep calling very affordable.. but it's for FRESH water only..<br /><br />pretty neet..!!!

yeah, crabbie, we still have no proof as to how good that deal will go... you should remember- if everybody that can operate a lawnmower allasudden gets a B&S motor on their innertube, we're gonna be hurtin for a decent fishin spot.
B&S motor has some interesting posts here. Search and read. Sloopy has one, but as you read, he's busy doing the school stuff tonight. They are selling them a t B&S dealers, Cabelas, and some big box stores.
You should be able to pick one of these up for around $5.00 in a couple years. You'll probably see the foot of one sticking out of someones trash can Clean the carb, a new plug and you'll be good to go. <br /><br />The same yahoos that mistreat their lawnmowers will do the same with these.<br /><br />I haven't PAID for a lawnmower in 20 years. Just plugs, oil and air filters.
