I have a Volvo Penta 3.0L GSM-A. I was removing the engine to replace the flywheel and I broke the head off of the right side bolt. I was able to get the engine out, but not sure how to get it back in. It looks like the rest of the bolt is stuck in a resin/fiberglass type material with wood underneath. I can not get under the bolt as it is under the deck. Any ideas on how to get it out? Thanks!

Was it a lag bolt?

Grind the broken lag bolt flush, then turn the motor mount and redrill and install new lags.
Make sure you use the right size drill bit for the lag bolt, and go deep enough that the lag doesn't bottom out. Use sealer (5200) on the threads.
