Ayuh,.... With a length of 3/8" automotive brake line, 'n a flairin' tool, you can build yer own New 1,....

Rubber hose is allowed, but not recommended,.. GC Approved rubber hose of course,..

I use SS braided fuel line on mine with -AN fittings.

haulnazz what size fittings did you use for the carb and fuel pump fittings? I wanna use braided line over rubber myself. All the automotive places didn't have fittings for this application

If your fuel line broke...i.e...no good. Cut the line and use the original fittings! As stated in another thread use brake line, bend to shape, attach fittings onto line and then use flare tool. You won't need the new part that arrives...send it back.

Re: Broke my hard fuel line

The fitting sizes will vary based on your carb size and fuel pump outlet size. It may make more sense just to make your own hardline like others have suggested. You can rent the tubing benders from any auto parts store, usually at no charge. I used SS-braided line on mine because I swapped to a completely different carburetor setup which made my old hardline useless. For what it's worth, I used fitting from Russell Automotive (Edelbrock) for my installation.

Tahoejag I would use the old fittings but the previous owner rounded the fitting that connects to the carb so I think that's why the fuel line broke when I was trying to take it off, it rolled the fuel line like a piece of putty.
