Broken anti-cavitation plate fix

So this weekend the lake was dirty. I was out cruising Friday night and ran through some crap. A small log must have got into the prop and broke the anti-cavitation plate on one side.
Where can I find a replacement? Weld on or otherwise.

It's an Alpha 1 Gen 1 outdrive.

I have the same problem. Vibrates on turns and lost power on startup (suspect it's cavitating). I was looking at those plates (i.e. Hydrofoil) that bolt on to the lower end to get up on the plane quicker as a less expdnsive fix - not sure if they work though - looking for ideas that don;t hit my bank account to hard.

If its a large piece missing it may cause turbulence around the prop.

As far as a fix...a new lower gear case.
Careful welding on it as the seals do not like heat..

Re: Broken anti-cavitation plate fix

My drive is so deep it doesn't hurt the way it drives. Played all weekend and never noticed a difference. But I am wanting to sell the boat next yr so I do want to fix it. Welding isn't a problem I just need to know if they make a piece to weld back on. It's a fairly large chunk (7-8" back on one half).
