Broken driveshaft in crankshaft...What do I do now!! need a used one help me out

Looking fo a used powerhead from a 8 hp johnson early 80's. Or just the crankshaft. The idiot broke the driveshaft in the crank i bought it off of. If you have one let me know. Also need a driveshaft. Or if no one has one im going to do it the old fashion way........ Drill out the crank a little bit. Weld a craftsman socket to it and cut the driveshaft and weld a extension on it; grease it and pop it back together!!! Gotta do what u gotta do to get boatin again!!!
