I just thought this was strange and I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced it or if anyone knew why it happened.

I've got a 2004 jon boat that was bought new in 2005, so it's only about 3 years old. Ofcourse it has original paint on it. Anyway, I was out doing some night fishing and I was using those glow sticks that are very common. You can get them from walmart. Well, I steped on it and broke it in the floor of the boat and the glowing liquid leaked out on the floor of the boat. The next day, I tried to clean it up and everywhere that the glowing liquid was, the paint pealed off.

Not to make light (no pun intended) of your situation, but I guess it would make a great paint remover if it does not harm the metal.

I used to have a 12 foot car topper that had green painted seats. When ever I used Muskol or Deep Woods the repellent on my legs would rub on the seat melting the paint and transferring it to my legs!!!! I would come home at the end of the day with my legs looking like Kermit the frogs!! :D
