Just got back from the water and while inspecting the outboard I noticed that the small cover plate on the lower unit for the water intake was bent back because the front screw broke that was holding it on. Anyway I used a easy out to try and extract the screw and of course it broke inside the screw. now i cant drill it out since the easy out is too hard to drill. I need some suggestions on a way to keep the cover in place.

Thanks
sds

A small amount of JBWeld should hold it in place.
Not too muck, just a dab, so you can knock it out with a chisel if you ever have to take it off.
