brushes for trim motor

'73 115hp merc inline 6. The brushes in my trim motor are shot. I can't see any name on the trim motor. Is there more than one, or are they all the same for that motor? Can I just get brushes, or do I have to get the whole motor?

It's a Prestolite pump, you can get brushes thru merc.arco or NAPA. Part numbers is merc# 392-8989, NAPA or sierra # 18-6255

great info! i was about to ask the same question. i also need the brush holders. one of mine is cracked and it wore the brush unevenly. any source for brush holders?
