Alright guys and gals I need some suggestions
I have a yard cruiser zero mower. This thing has been loyal since I bought it some 8 to 10 years ago. I need a site I can go to to buy a electric clutch for it. I think its a warner clutch.
My local dealer will set me on fire if I have to buy from him.

Yea I know a mower that old needs replacing but I can't afford to replace it until next spring so I need to repair it.
Next year will be new koabota<<sp>> diesel time :D

Did a quick search, seems that the part is no longer available.

dont' know about your current mower, but my brother got one of the diesel zero turn kubota's..... Kicks butt!

I loved my Dad's Gas "grate dane"... but the power of that diesel wins the race.

"a mower that old needs replacing"

Say what !!??

It should last 20 - 30 years.

Dad's old snapper went 30 years when he figured it was time to replace the engine. New engine has 4 years on it and the rest of the mower is still going strong.

Even my cheap Murray is 9 years old, and I plan on it still working another 9 years.

Bubbakat,
Have a look at an auto aircon shop and see if any thing matches in their catalogs.
Some of the clutches used by some manufacturers are of auto origin.
You may be able to use the coil from something close and get it to work.

Pete

Also check ebay, some cub cadet tractors had electric clutches that may work for you as well. My push mower is over 50 years old, a little temperamental but still runs Good. the engine was rebuilt about 15 years ago! The solid tires are near worn through, yet I continue to use it!
