Hey folks. Just a question about the fuel filter.

The one i use is a seasense glass filter that you can see inside of. i see fuel flowing fine throught the filter, but there are bubbles in the top of the glass chamber with the filter inside.

Are bubbles an indication of air intering the fuel system from anywhere other than the empty space in the hose between the gas and the fuel pump?

In other words, if y ou use this type of glass case filter, does your get bubbles in the top?

Thanks

Re: Bubbles in fuel filter.

yes thats air getting in but some is normal on that type of filter -if your not having any issues no worries . you could replace o rings and re seal the threads on the fittings - that might help ,
