Hi,
I have a 80hp Merc '85 - mentioned a few times on here - is running lumpy up to about 2000rpm. Went to look at the plugs today - the two on the bottom carb are silver on the outside and black on the inside and the top carb is black on the inside and black on the outside.
I then noticed the plugs installed are ngk buhw however when i looked it said it should run buhw-2 - would this cause running problems? should i put in buhw-2's? also i have only found buzhw-2 are these ok to use in place of buhw-2?
Also it is a bit unusual the carbs seem covered by this? is this normal? how do i get to the carb? Is this what all 80's look like?
