Building a livewell

Im looking at adding a livewell onto my 1982 16' sylvan seaman. Anyone have any tips on how to do this? Ive seen the kits on cabelas and bass pro, any better then the other? Any advices is greatly appreciated!

you can also get pumps with an aerator attached to them for $30-40 with suction cups then just chuck it in a big ol cooler.
