I have an 89 Raven Runabout, this winter I have replaced both back to backs. Plus the back two singles on each side of the engine, also I recovered the bow seats and vinyl. The only thing left is to build a new engine cover, the one that's on it is in good shape, but I want to recover to match the rest. Since I am redoing the vinyl I would like to build different design other than the standard square. My question is how much space should be left around the motor, common since yes tells me heat will be a major player in what I build but I didn't know if I "had" to have a certain amount of space between the engine and motor cover. Also are there any manuf. who sells "pre-made" engine covers?
