Well I came upon a boat sitting at my grandparents in the weeds. I seen the boat almost 8years ago in the same place. It was sitting on tires with no trailer under it. Recently I got an interest in looking at it, and since it was free I went ahead and rescued it from rotting completely away. So, now i've got this Bumble bee with not a clue what year it is. Can anyone help me find a ser # or even guide me where to look? Here are a couple of pictures.
I also conducted a drill test on the foam and transom and they are saturated with water, so as soon as I get this in my garage i'm going to tear it apart.

Let me know what you think and any advice.

Re: Bumble Bee...

Before you invest any time or money in the boat, you should make sure it can be registered in your name. I don't know anything about that brand. Good luck!

EDIT: The link below to the USCG Manufacturers Identification Code (MIC) database has some information about Bumble Bee and even a telephone number. Maybe you can get some help from one of those good folks up in TN.

I see $2200 in materials needed, plus the engine. Add in whatever the trailer needs. Bearings, springs, winch, etc. You can find something in far better shape for far less.....but if you need a project, go for it!
