bunk placement

i am getting ready to redo my trailer bunks and want options
currently the bunks are under the stakes and i would like to leave them there as that is the strongest part of the hull (i think) bear in mind i am adding guide-on to trailer also so i think it will load correctly this way.

also i will be sliding the boat back even with the support of bunk unless i get a good reason not to

what do you guys think???????????????

Sounds like a good plan.The only thing is playing with how far to slide it back due to changing the tongue weight.
They are due for replacement...

i had thought about leaving it forward to protect the motor but then the front winch straddles the connection where i am going to put the fold-away hinge so it will fit the garage
as for tongue weight just have to slide the axle back

TD, what would you suggest???
forward they support about 3/4 of boat. should i extend past back of trailer??
if so how much
