Forgive my ignorance but what is the difference between a terminal block and a bus bar? In my situation I'm looking for a place for all my negative returns to call home.

Re: Bus bar/Terminal Block

I use a bus bar with a posotive to one and negative to the other end, with little jumpers connecting the rest. So that way I have 5 posotive and 5 negatives to connect if I wish.

Re: Bus bar/Terminal Block

A terminal block is more appropriately called a "barrier strip". It contains multiple connections points. There are several types of these but two are more common. One type has two rows of connections with any number of connections in each row (say 3 to 8). Connection 1 in the first row may be common with the same terminal in the second row and so on down the line. On another type of block with the same configuration, none of the terminals are common -- they are all separate terminations. You connect them with jumpers however you want. A ground buss bar is a single metal bar with several screw terminals. All terminals are common.

Or you could use a nut, bolt, and ring terminals.
