according to Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi.

I just don't know who to believe anymore!

excerpt from cnn.com

NEW YORK (Reuters) -- British Prime Minister Tony Blair was in favor of announcing a timetable to pull troops out of Iraq, but was "brainwashed" out of it by President George W. Bush, Iraq's vice president said on Tuesday.

Read my lips... if we pull out now, we'll be fighting them on the streets in your Home Town.

Tony isn't as dumb as most libs, he got the message.

ok I just now got what alden's up to - duh! 8)

crunch you're just tryin ta brainwash me now ain't ya?

I just know there's a joke in there somewhere, something about pulling out...but I won't use it, not in a family-oriented forum like this one. ;)

But hey, I heard the president say we're not winning - I'll take that as a good sign - maybe the course will be tweaked a little.

This has always been a mystery to me. I have always been impressed with Blair. Even saw him on TV a few weeks ago, and he almost had me believing Iraq was a good move--until I gave my head a bit of a shake.

How can an otherwise brilliant man can be so pragmatic in every way, and believe what he does in
iraq.
i have no idea, and would love to know.

It ain't about foolishness like WMD's or "fighting them there so we won't have to fight them here" As if the Sunnis and Shiaas are going to pack their guns up and head over here somehow

W has the power jtex.

It goes something like Alden has said.

"See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda." GWB --Greece, N.Y., May 24, 2005 "
