LOL!
Somehow, I think I'll wait for the historians to weigh in on how historians will regard GWB, and not some partisan hack!

Re: Bush the Winner

Shouldn't that be Bush the Weiner? ;)

Bill Kristol's nose has always been up Bush's butt clear to the ankles. As long as he was up there, they could've fitted him with one of those miner's helmets and a scissors. Could've saved the butt doctor the job. :D

I agree 100%, PW. Time will indeed tell. Lies have a way of growing into uncontrolable monsters, and rarely if ever stand-up to the test of historic REALITY. This means all the BS, the games played by the left and their liberal spin machine will be exposed. Perhaps not right away. but trust me, it will happen.

You will reference this issue to the approval rating of Pres Reagan durring his termS, and compare it to his legacy.
History not only redeemed him, but exalted him.

Re: Bush the Winner

Lets see how kristol,s other predictions came out shall we?

On September 11, 2002, Kristol said that Saddam could do more harm than al Qaeda had and we cannot let Saddam inflict a worse 9/11 in the future.

On September 15, 2002,he made this statement. "No one believes the inspections can work. UN inspectors seem to have believed that they could work.

On September 18, 2002 he stated that Iraq could have good effects throughout the Middle East. That sure hasn?t panned out now has it?

On September 19, 2002,in a debate on Fox News Kristol exclaimed that Saddam was past the finish line.on WMD,s. I wonder where they ore?

On November 21, 2002, he said, "We can remove Saddam because that could start a chain reaction in the Arab world that would be very healthy." still waiting for that chain reaction.

On February 2, 2003,stated that Secretary of State Powell would show that there were loaded guns throughout Iraq, referring of course to the elusive WMD,s. Seems it turned out that his quote, as well as Powell?s statement to the UN was wrong as well.

On February 20, 2003,while still beating on the drum for invading Iraq he gave this lame axx statement.< Look, if we free the people of Iraq we will be respected in the Arab world....France and Germany don't have the courage to face up to the situation. That's too bad. Most of Europe is with us. And I think we will be respected around the world for helping the people of Iraq to be liberated.>"

On March 1, 2003,with this quote we can see how really lame he is. <"We talk here about Shiites and Sunnis as if they've never lived together. Most Arab countries have Shiites and Sunnis, and a lot of them live perfectly well together." He also said, "Very few wars in American history were prepared better or more thoroughly than this one by this president." And he maintained that the war would be a bargain at $100 to $200 billion. The running tab is now nearing half a trillion dollars.>

He was wrong about everything he has said about going into Irq so we should believe him now .ya right. His good judgment Is in doubt in my mind at least.

Re: Bush the Winner

To quote myself:

Lets see in the past 4 weeks, things in Iraq are turning for the better, Korean nutjob put back in his box, economy busting out at the seams, France and Germany want to make nice, The liberals little slumber party was a disaster, and Undercover sister is tossed on her ear outside the courthouse. Bush looks to be on a roll! (Oh and throw in that congress's approval ratings are at 13% in the latest Zogby poll - and who is in charge over there????)

For gods sake, throw the guy a bone when he deserves one, he is after all, everyone's president.

Why is that the left always thinks things will change overnight? It may take decades to see the results of what is happening today.

I believe that history will be kind to President Bush. When there is no more agenda for the left to spew their hate towards the man, the truth will be seen that he was brave and consistent in his convictions.

I don't agree with everything he has done or wants to do, but over all I am pleased with his Presidency.
