busted trolling motor

Tried to load a pic.but upload keeps failing...busted the top cover of my motorguide brute 750 12-24volt 41lb,...I have no idea what year it is,its on a 1989 boat that I bought back in 2000....any ideas where I might find parts for this motor..I tired( trollingmotorparts.com) and that site is no longer available....the bottom is busted also but is still there the top is at the bottom of the lake,the motor itself is unhurt and runs good,just no cover..thanks for any help

Seems you have a few options for your Motor Guide Brute 750. I just researched Evil Bay and found a top for $8 dollars for your trolling motor. OR you could even make another one out of some fiberglass and resin. Use a piece of Styrofoam, cut and sand it just like you want it. Then cover it with fiberglass clothe and resin and then once you have it as thick as you want it, pour some lacquer thinner or acetone and the foam will dissolve and leave you a new cover. Sand, paint and there you go...easy!

yes I looked at bay. and didn't see 1 that would fit my machine,maybe I will relook,might have over looked it,,,thanks for your ideas
