Butterfield Lake, Jefferson county, NY

Does anyone know of a place I can contact for cottage rentals on Butterfield Lake located in the town of Redwood, Jefferson county New York? It's located about 7 miles from Alexandria Bay and the thousand islands north of Watertown by about 25-30 miles.

Ayuh,..... Have you tried online at the A-bay or Clayton websites,..??

I know there's cottages,+ campgrounds at Black Lake, just up the road aways from Butterfield lake....

I don't remember any commercial sites at Butterfield,... Lot's of private cottages,....
And, I have no idea how to find the owners,.... Maybe an ad in craigslist in Watertown Ny....

Thanks for the reply Bondo. I've placed ads in Craigslist, called the bait store in Redwood, called A-Bay chamber of commerce, contacted several people that used to rent cottages on Buterfield lake. People I've talked to that live on Butterfield lake know of only 3 people that rent their cottages out in the summer. I spoke will all 3 and they are fully booked for this year and most of next year. I guess I'll plan to to to the Saranac lakes chain a little farther east of where I wanted to go, at least I can get a cottage there.
If anyone else can help I'm all ears.
