Butterfly Not Open Enough?

Below is a pic of my carbs butterfly X3 at WOT. Is it open enough, meaning shouldnt it be open 90 degrees to the closed position? does this mean I was never really running at WOT?<br />cheers<br />

Yup, simply reajusts the butterfly with the linkage on top of the carb, sometimes over the years the spring shafts get weak so it's probable not always been that way

actually I checked today, It's hitting the spark advance screw. What can I do? Just back it out until the butterflys are fully open?<br />cheers
