Buying a boat..

I'm 13, and am possibly looking to buy a boat.<br />I only want something small, so how much am I looking at for say a 10ft sailer on launching trolley. 2nd hand, maybe like a mirror.<br />Any one got any ideas of UK prices?<br />Sam

Hi,<br />you should be able to get a good starter boat for less than 300, if you know a bit about sailing and want a fun fast boat, then a great bargain can be had with an older (1975-1980) Merlin Rocket for less than 400, very light and fast upwind but a bit tippy. I've still got an old Merlin 1975 thats loads of fun.
