Tahoe is exhibiting at the Toronto Boat Show in January...

Do they offer any incentives or promos for buying at the show? They offer a no haggle price online etc ... but I cant believe a dealer wont discount that price.. I know Bass PRo Wont.....

Anyone have experience with this at all? Since the season is basically over for Ontario and for sure its over by the 6 week delivery time, I dont see a point in buying now...

According to my local Four Winns dealer (he's brutally honest sometimes), most boat manufacturers raise their prices just prior to "boat show season" then all of sudden lower them the day before. However, most 2009 models are already being reduced BIGTIME and they are including the boat show discount (if they even exist). For instance, I was just quoted a $56K boat would sell for $39K today. WOW!!! Also, someone said the best day to buy a boat at a boat show is on a weekday, not sure why though. Good luck!

FromTO, I'm in Ottawa. They had a boat show here in February. the intro Bayliner 17.5' went for $12K. In June, they wanted $18K. I'm guessing Jan/Feb is the time to buy and at the boat shows, the prices are discounted.

But, arm yourself with prices now and see if there is truly a difference come Jan. Worst case, the prices shouldn't go up in this market/economy.
