buying a used 50 hp Evinrude

What do you folks think of this engine. I am concerned because the model number is for a 72. The seller says it is in good condition, that they had it checked out.

What does your wisdom suggest about this model Evinrude? Reliable or problematic?

You Might Do A Compression Check Or Have The Motor Checked Out By Dealer---mine Still Runs Godd After All These Years---price Is Great And If Nothing Else Put On A Set Of Muffs And Run It For 15 To 20 Minutes
