Buying a used Glastron GX-225. Need help

I am looking at a used 2002 Glastron GX-225. <br /><br />Here are the boats specs,<br />Length : 22.5 feet <br />Beam : 101.5 inches <br />Depth: 48 inches <br />Approx Weight: 335 lbs with Volvo Penta Engine 5.0 Liter (270 Hp) <br />Cockpit Depth: 34 inches <br />Transom Width: 96 inches <br />Transom dead rise: 20 deg <br />Fuel Cap. : 47 Gallons <br />Max Cap: 1555 lbs<br /><br />Now I need your help! Could you please tell me the + and - of owning this type boat. I have owned a boat for 30 yrs, so I do know alittle about boats. I am looking to move up to a bigger boat. (Family is geetting bigger) Any help or recomendation would be appreciate.<br /><br /> Happy Boating!

I'm looking at a similair Glastron..<br />+ = More room, good quality, a good all around boat.<br /><br />- = The Volvo Penta engine while venerable, is much harder to fing someone to fix and to order parts.

cant go wrong with the glastron I have a 2005 GX255 and love it, prior to that i had a GX235 also great boat only trader it in as i wanted something bigger. also never had any issues with my volvo penta seems to be lots of places that are able to fix them and/or order parts.
