I'm getting 3 new batteries , 2 trolling and 1 cranking/house stored under the console. Anybody using Cabela's AGM dual purpose batteries. I'm looking at group 24 with MCA 1195 CCA 945 and reserve capacity 178. They weigh 53.5 lbs each.Power=F150 plus usual accessories, GPS ,radio , etc. Any experiences good or bad will be appreciated.

Re: Buying new batteries

Obviously anecdotal but I've had GREAT luck with the 2 DieHards I've had and will be buying them again.

Agree with the others. Go to any farm store and for $75 (even less on sale) you can buy group 27 size deep cycles that in my experience have proven extremely reliable. I buy a new boat and when it sold some years later they are still operating perfectly.
