My personal opinon would be the 2nd one, OMC stern drives are harder to find parts for, as they are out of business. I think there both high priced too. And conditon is key, not the year as much.

Those prices are outrageous! I know there are variations in price throughout the country but holy cow. Those would be 3K to 5K less than that in Texas. Price aside, there is a big difference with the boats that you are looking at. It depends on what you plan on doing with the boat, cruise, wakeboard, tubing, etc. I had that same Bayliner except in a 19' and it would not get me out of the water on a wakeboard (im pretty big though, 250lbs) and it was not very enjoyable in rough water. All else being equal..... Bigger boat + Bigger engine = Bigger Smile! :D Go as big as practical.

I thought the prices looked outrageous and then it dawned on me.

Guys, the boats are in Canada. Ummm, therefore the prices are in Canadian dollars.

You guys remember Canada, right? It's that bunch of states up there to the north of us. It's almost like a different country.

Ha Ha! You are right! These are Canadian prices. I will keep looking but I am leaning towards the Marada. It comes from a Marina, it has been serviced, they will take a trade in and he says all there boats have a warranty. I will go inspect and take for a ride.

I just want a boat that can have 5 or 6 people on board, plane quickly, maybe tow a tube and go fast.

The 1995 Marada 210 Altima with 230hp seems like a boat I would love as long as it runs.

Any other thoughts and what is the deal with seadoo boats?
