buying used engine

I am planning to buy a used Force 85 hp mid 80's.

I am divided between this engine and a Johnson same year, power and money. Your advice will be highly appreciated.

i scrap every Force that comes on a boat. Johnson, all the way.

Before I bought my johnson I read all the different engine mssg sections here and johnson just had the right feel to it. The only one I'd avoid is the ficht , I'm happy with my J150.
