Buying used trim pump and clylinder kit questions

I had my boat looked at and left cylinder bad and pump bad, not pumping up. New cost of parts 1100 dollars and found a place that will sell me a used tested trim pump/motor complete with soleniods and bracket for 250.00 and kit for clyinder for 25.00. <br />Anyone ever buy and install used parts, how did it work. The used part is guarenteed for 4 months. Any comments welcomed.
