Buzzer Problem 90 HP Johnson.

I installed a new switch in my boat, when I turned on the key switch I get a buzzer sound. I know now that the battery is bad as the motor would not turn over only the Solenoid would click. My questing is should i get a buzzer on turning on the key or have i got the switch wired wrong. also I will replace the battery.

If it is just a quick one or two second beep that is what you want to hear. That lets you know the warning buzzer is working.

No it stays on for as long as the switch is on.

sounds like it is wired wrong, or oil tank is empty.
