buzzing alarm from turning the key until I shut off the motor

I have a classic 50 on a 1989 bass tracker. when I turn the ignition switch on, a continuous alarm sounds and doesn't stop until I turn off the ignition. I have just started this motor for the first time this year intending to get into the new fishing season. Anybody know the cause and cure? I had unplugged the auto-mixer and am using already mixed gas at 50:1

maybe low oil alarm

The alarm sounds on a short circuit of the oil sense wire or OT sensor. Did you unplug your oil alarm from your external oil module?

May be a temperature alarm switch shorted to ground.

As others and I stated, could be either. On some engines you get a solid tone for low oil. On others like mine, you get an intermittent beep break beep break etc. for low oil and a solid tone for OT. The oil is blue white (2 ea) and the OT is tan or tan with Lt. blue stripe. Find the wires and disconnect them. Horn should quit. Then see which one it was.
