Well i lost my prop somewhere in the bottom of the lake yesterday - castle nut must have backed off since it was missing the cotter pin and the rest went with it. I have no idea what pitch my prop had but its max RPM was at 4k when the motor should be rated to 5k (from what i've found online).

Anyone running a Yamaha C75 on a pontoon that can make some guestimate as to what pitch i should be using?

so far in doing some research it looks like with a 24' pontoon its most common to run a 13" pitch 3 blade. thoughts?

found one of the original sales ad photos ... doubt this will help with identification but maybe someone can make a guess:

I think an 11" is probably closer. If your going to be guessing I would guess low.Under propped you can run and just have to watch the rpm.Over propped you shouldn't run over an extended period.
My info is based on 75hp motors with the same gear ratio on 22ft pontoons.
