not a guru but we ran those motors for years and years beach fishing. I may have the stator plate from a 73 out back in the junk pile. I know I have a midsection and lower unit.my suggestion would be to stop until you get a maanual. then carefully read the part descriptions. then post what manual ya have so we can help. I think I have both the clymer and the seloc for that year here at the house. good motors but I will tell ya now to lap the flywheel tapers. they were problematic. I have a whole bunch of old motors and parts that if they close on this property I will bury or dump.
