Cabelas synthetic 2stroke oil

Has anyone used this stuff and how do you like it. I have limited use with it in the past in a merc 115 and was happy with it. Haven't needed it for the last 3 years but might use it again shortly. Any long term stories out there? Sal

Ahoy, salmonator. I suspect that Cabelas syn. is, like Wal Mart's syn, Quicksilver or OMC syn relabeled. Compare the sae ratings on the jugs. Same ratings, same oil.<br />Good luck.<br />JB

It might be the same snake-oil, but they claim a lower smoke level and a MUCH lower toxicity. If I remember right it is also a green color. I have no experiences with the other syn or semi-synthetics to compare to. Sal
